The Iceblock ice packs are perfect for use in cooler bags, polystyrene boxes and cooler boxes of all kinds. Keep your food and drinks cool in any weather. With the Iceblock ice packs, cooling performance of up to 12 hours is possible. Before using, simply freeze the ice packs in the freezer for a few hours.

Details about the function of the 200 g ice packs:

The phase change in these ice packs takes place at approx. 0°C. During this change, the cold pack needs a lot of energy in the form of heat to melt, which it gets from the environment (e.g. within a Styrofoam box or cool box) - the so-called heat absorption. In other words: The temperature range around 0°C is the temperature range that this cold pack can maintain for the longest time because that is where it extracts the most heat energy from its surroundings (melting point).
